How much does a brand film cost?

Brand Storytelling packages start from NZ$7,500. That includes a 2–5 minute cinematic hero film plus 6–10 short-form reels cut from the same shoot. Event and festival coverage starts from NZ$2,000 per event, and social content packages start from NZ$800, with monthly retainers available. Every project is quoted to its scope after a free consultation.

Are travel and accommodation included?

Yes. Travel and accommodation are built into your quote, so there are no surprise costs, whether you're in Wānaka, Queenstown, elsewhere in New Zealand or overseas.

Where are you based, and where do you film?

Life Captured is based in Wānaka, New Zealand. We regularly film across Queenstown, Cromwell, Central Otago and Canterbury, and travel throughout New Zealand and internationally. Past projects have been filmed in Cambodia, Bali and Australia.

What does the process look like?

  1. Discovery call: we talk through your story, your audience and what you want the film to do.
  2. Treatment: a clear creative plan covering the story, interviews, locations and deliverables.
  3. Shoot: on-location filming, with interviews and cinematic B-roll.
  4. Edit: you receive a first cut, with two rounds of revisions included.
  5. Delivery: final films and reels, formatted for your website and social channels.

How long does a project take?

Most brand films are delivered within 4–6 weeks of the shoot. Event and social content is usually turned around faster. If you're working to a deadline, let us know on the first call.

Do you need a deposit?

Yes. A deposit secures your shoot dates, with the details set out in your quote.

Do you film with drones?

Yes. Aerial footage can be added to any project, flown by certified pilots in line with New Zealand Civil Aviation Authority rules.

Is music licensing included?

Yes. Every film includes licensed music, and captions or subtitles are included too.
